Challenge 1
Challenge 2
You may have to redraw this picture (I’m sure you may like to do this) or explain in your reasoning where something would be.
Word Power
Adding the prefix ‘il’ and ‘in’.
The prefix in– can mean both ‘not’ and ‘in’/‘into’. In the words given here it means ‘not’. Before a root word starting with l, in– becomes il.
English
One of my favourite online videos is Pigeon Impossible…
I want you to watch the above video and then pull out the key parts of the video and put them into a comic strip to re-tell the story of Pigeon Impossible.
I have attached a comic strip template for you below, or you can create your own template based on this format if you like! Add colour, captions and be creative with it!
Other tasks to complete during the day
Mental Health Awareness Week
It is so important that we take time to talk to each other, now more than ever! There are so many resources on this website that are useful to get us talking. Kindness is the theme for this week and I would like you to take a look at the list of random acts of kindness that you can make (even from home) on the following link:
https://www.mentalhealth.org.uk/coronavirus/random-acts-kindness
Please send them in as I would love to share them if you’re happy to!
Sports Competition
As part of the Harrogate School Sports Partnership we still have the opportunity to compete against other children across the Partnership. This week we have the year 3/4 athletics intra sports festival. The following competitions are here if you want to get practising:Â Â https://www.harrogatessp.com/home-intra-inter-school-games-competitions/
- Read the rules on the following document:Â Home-Intra-School-Athletics-Year-34-Festival-pupils-1
- Send an email with your three scores to me by Friday 22nd May
- Be honest! Let the best person / team win.
From there, we will put the top scores forward to go against other Partnership schools and of course we will let you know how you get on.
