It is really important that you complete the following:
- Eat ice cream
- Build a den outside and in your bedroom
- Go for many walks with your family
- Play on computer/ tablet games
- Give a present to someone special to you
- Eat sweets
- Eat sweets and popcorn at the same time
- Go for a run
- Write a letter to someone to say thank you for something you are grateful for
- Have a water fight!
- Do lots of reading!

Parents who are looking for support and reassurance as lockdown restrictions start to ease can now access free online help from a leading children’s mental health and wellbeing organisation.
Thrive® has launched the Thrive-Online Parent Toolkit as part of its response to the coronavirus pandemic, enabling parents and carers of children aged 4 to 11 to access practical guidance and information. Thrive is known for the training and online services it provides to teachers and other education professionals to support children’s social and emotional development. The new toolkit draws on this expertise to provide a resource for parents and carers who may be home schooling or helping children to manage uncertainty relating to the coronavirus situation”.

RadioBlogging.Net is a daily radio programme that teaches literacy and is aimed at families and schools. It is interactive so that children write and their work is published during and after the show. Each day there are spelling, grammar and vocabulary games, followed by creative writing and responding to reading. The show features a poet of the day and author of the week.
