Two-day creative task
Mrs Meynellâs Afternoon Makes!
- You will need coloured paper/wrapping paper/old magazines cut into strips measuring 21cm long x 2.5cm wide.
- Draw a circle using a plate/bowl
- Fold first colour strip in half lengthways then stick 3 together and stick around the circle shape starting in the middle. (I used Sellotape)
- The next colour goes underneath
- The next colour goes underneath that and so on until you have a layered flower.
You could change the design to a heart, butterfly or a clown with silly hair, why not draw your portrait as the face?
Be creative and send in your completed designs to Mr Butterworth and donât forget to put them on your windows to brighten up your street.
