Reading plus challenge and wow work!

Congratulations on another completed week in lockdown learning. You have done me, your parents and yourselves proud. Producing some amazing work and performances.

The results are in from our reading challenge , as a class this week we have:

Read 106,325 words (highest across school), on average each student has completed 3.9 lessons at 80%+, and made an average word gain of 8

This weeks winners are:

Highest number of lessons completed at 80%

William  with 14 lessons

Martha with 8 lessons

Lily, Anya and Ben with 6 lessons

Daniel with 5 lessons

A special shout out to our most improved readers Rosie and Miles. Everyone has pulled together to read that impressive total of words. Well done year 5. The challenge now is to beat that total. The best way is to improve reading accuracy then the lessons count in the 80% total. The lessons are structed to suit your child’s reading profile so everyone can find something they enjoy reading at the right challenge.

Shakespeare in the style of Andy Warhol.

We have had some impressive work submitted here are a few more to admire.

This is the mark sheet from Thursday’s lesson. Have a go at self-marking and don’t forget to circle how confident you feel at statics.
